Education NZ is the government agency responsible for our country’s fourth largest export market – international education. In October 2016, SpeakData beat 14 contenders to become their first ever Database Marketing Partner. Since then, SpeakData has a developed a multi award-winning database marketing program designed to engage International Students who are interested in studying in NZ (prospects), are already studying in NZ (current) or have studied in NZ (alumni).
This has been achieved by collecting, aggregating and managing a wide variety of data sources, including extensive data sharing with NZ schools, PTEs, polytechnics, universities and Immigration NZ. We have also implemented a range of data-driven comms programs to move prospects through the acquisition funnel, maintain a relationship with them after they arrive here to study and ultimately convert them into advocates who’ll encourage others to follow.
Along the way, we’ve also provided a complete business intelligence platform. This includes a range of predictive models and algorithms that deliver a personalised digital experience for students, plus a comprehensive set of live dashboard reports to track and measure the success and value of the program.
Now, in the wake of Covid-19’s disruption to international education markets, the industry is transitioning to a more customised onshore/offshore model of studying WITH New Zealand. SpeakData is right there with ENZ, driving the next phase of data-driven innovation, implementing a Tealium customer data platform, and delivering personalised learner journeys powered by machine learning algorithms.
